The Premier Bob Weir Bedford comes finished in a muted Matte Stone and is the first solid-body signature model ever produced by D'Angelico. If you have any awareness of the work of Bob Weir and The Grateful Dead, you already know that this guitar has been built to astound. The power of this instrument lies in its incredible versatility and this is shaped in part by a Seymour Duncan P-90 at the bridge and neck with an SC-101 sitting in the middle. The fullness of the resulting sound has a delicious vintage edge to it and the whole can be tweaked as needed using the provided five-way pickup switch and a blend pot to mix the P-90s. This flexibility is what makes this model able to take on all playing styles while the satin-gloss finished neck ensures a playing comfort as luxurious as the Art Deco style detailing.
